More Sleep = More Sex

Although this research study was done on females, it is probably fair to assume that similar outcomes would also apply to men.

A study of 93,668 women aged 50 to 79, published in the journal Menopause, has shown that lack of sleep for women is highly correlated with less sexual activity.

The study showed that women above the age of 70 who slept less than five hours a night, were 30% less likely to be sexually active compared to the group who got seven to eight hours of sleep a night.

A similar study that looked at college students’ sleep and sex patterns, found similar results. According to this study, for those women who were in romantic relationships, every extra hour they slept corresponded to higher sexual desire, greater vaginal lubrication and a 14 percent increase in the chances of having sex the next day.
