A new research study has shown that ultraviolet light can indeed increase a man’s libido.
This study was done on 38 men who had an average sexual satisfaction score of 2 out of 10.
The persons were randomly either given 30 minutes of ultraviolet light (similar to what one could get on a sunny day) or a placebo light.
After 2 weeks of treatment, the sexual satisfaction score of those men who received ultraviolet light, went to 6.3 out of 10, while the score of the other group was almost unchanged.
Also, the group who received ultraviolet light had a significant increase in testosterone levels. The researches believe the increase in testosterone is what caused sexual satisfaction scores to move up.
However, this is not new knowledge. This study confirms what has been reported before: That sunshine / ultraviolet light has a very positive effect on a man’s testosterone levels.
