A Shocking Number Of Men In Their 20’s Take Viagra

By Johnathan P Cumberwell

An increasing number of young men resort to Viagra and other pharmaceutical drugs in order to ‘get it up’. 😳

A recent survey of 5,000 young men, found that 18% of men aged 18-24 had problems getting erections.

Also, a specialist nurse from the Sexual Advice Association said that today, 20% of erectile dysfunction patients are below the age of 30, compared to 2%, 20 years ago.

Why is this happening?

And is it OK that young me resort to medications to have sex?

COVID can hurt your sex drive

First off, let’s try to address why this is happening.

Genetically, we are pretty much the same people as before, so I think we can rule out this factor.

My hunch is that this is practically all related to lifestyle issues.

Young people are increasingly more obese, and seemingly do less exercise and eat more junk food than their fathers.

In addition, stress, depression and mental problems are becoming prevalent.

And studies indicate that we sleep less now than we did before.

But I think a big factor at play is:

Pornography.

With the internet, video pornography has become super accessible. Anyone can watch it anywhere, anytime.

The problem with porn, is that is commoditizes sex into an every-day experience, and numbs our brains to sex. It’s simply too much for our brains to handle.

This again makes it more difficult to have sex with a real partner.

Therefore, because of excessive use of porn, many men struggle with ED.

On to the next question: Is it OK to take pills to deal with this problem?

People are obviously free to deal with their problems however they want.

But..

The problem with taking a pill, is that it does nothing to solve the underlying problem.

So if you start taking a pill, you will still struggle with ED. And you will then potentially have to keep taking the pills for the rest of your life.

Pills also often have bad side-effects such as headaches, distorted vision, etc.

And they come with a financial cost.

Also, if you struggle with ED at a young age (or at any age), this is often a signal from your body that something is wrong.

This could be pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problem, kidney problem, etc.

Would it not be better to listen to your body, and try to correct what is wrong? So that you can get back in shape and function sexually without pills?

The problem is however, that many people want a quick fix. And for many men, a pill is an adequate quick fix.

On the other hand:
