The answer seems to be ‘yes’..
James Cameron’s documentary ‘The Game Changers’ (released in January 2018) gave us a good indication.
In one of the scenes, we learn about three college athletes who changed their diet from being regular to a strict plant-based diet. They were then monitored by a machine during night which measured their erections.
The result? Their erections lasted for longer and were fuller than normal.
How can being vegan or vegetarian increase libido and reduce erectile dysfunction?
Many fruits and vegetables increase blood circulation in the body. Foods such as dark chocolate, cherries, blueberries, grapes, celery, watermelon, seeds, beetroot, and spinach can do this – improve the flow of blood in your body.
When bloodflow is improved, erectile dysfunction can be reduced and sex drive can be improved.
Eating healthy will also provide the body with the essential nutrients it needs so that it has a chance to function optimally, and therefore also optimally sexually.
Eating healthy can also improve health to the extent that you can reduce medications which could potentially interfere with libido or erectile dysfunction.
