The mineral Zinc is important for male sexual health. This has been known for a long time and has again been reconfirmed by research.
Research that was published in the medical journal Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine reported that supplementing with zinc, the vitamins folic acid and biotin, and also the herb Rhodiola Rosea, improved ejaculatory control in men who were suffering from premature ejaculation. The participants also reported no significant side-effects.
Another research study which was published in the Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences reported that supplementing with zinc, aiding with premature ejaculation, enabled men to have intercourse for longer, and also increased testosterone levels.
